The plumetis girl - illustrations for a blog!

Ricordate la mia amica Nadia, bravissima stilista di abiti da sposa? Per lei avevo realizzato un lavoro di illustrazione abbinato alle foto della sua collezione 2015 (che potete vedere qui).  
Da un po' di tempo si è lanciata in una nuova avventura e ha deciso di aprire un blog che racchiudesse alcune delle sue passioni, come i viaggi e la moda di ispirazione vintage, The Plumetis Girl! Mi ha chiesto di realizzare un header che potesse rappresentarla e allo stesso tempo che potesse essere d'impatto per chi visita la sua pagina... cosa meglio di una mini Nadia? Non potevano mancare i pois, ormai punto irrinunciabile della sua immagine di stilista e blogger, la Tour Eiffel e una fetta di anguria, a simboleggiare il suo amore per Parigi e per l'estate!

Do you remember my friend Nadia? She's a talented bridal designer and for her I realized an illustration work combined with the pictures of her 2015 collection (you can have a look here).
She started a new adventure, a blog that shares some of her passions, like travels and vintage inspired fashion, The Plumetis Girl! She asked me to make an header that could represent her... what better than a mini Nadia? The pois are representative of her style, the Eiffel Tower and the slice of watermelon symbolize her love for Paris and for the summer!

The Love Affair 2015

Lo scorso weekend si è svolta a Milano, alle Officine del Volo, la seconda edizione di The Love Affair, una bellissima fiera che propone alcune tra le migliori realtà creative riguardanti il mondo del matrimonio. La location, ricca di atmosfera e dal forte impatto visivo, era davvero adatta per l'evento e passeggiare tra gli stand era veramente bello e rilassante (lo è stato anche per me che sono allergica ai matrimoni!). 

Tra i designer di abiti da sposa era presente anche la bravissima Nadia Manzato, con la quale è nata una bellissima collaborazione! Infatti insieme ai suoi bellissimi abiti erano esposte alcune delle illustrazioni che ho realizzato per la sua collezione di quest'anno. Mi ha divertita calarmi in un mood romantico che normalmente non mi appartiene, ma credo che il risultato finale sia molto soddisfacente! 

Hanno collaborato al progetto anche il fotografo Matteo Coltro di Matrimoni all'Italiana, che ha realizzato gli scatti, ed Eleonora Gherlinzoni, che si è occupata delle modifiche in Photoshop.

Last weekend took place, at Officine del Volo in Milan, the second edition of The Love Affair, a beautiful fair that offers some of the best creative realities concerning the world of marriage. The high impact location was really suitable for the event and walking through the stands was really nice and relaxing (even for me that I'm allergic to marriage!). 

There was also the talented Nadia Manzato, a designer of wedding dresses with whom I had a wonderful collaboration! Among her beautiful dresses were exposed some of the illustrations I made for her last collection. It has been funny to put myself in a romantic mood that normally is not a part of my personality, but I think the result is very satisfying!

The photographer Matteo Coltro (Matrimoni all'Italiana), who made the shots, and the graphic designer Eleonora Gherlinzoni supported the project.
